My Mind: Lifesized

KEXP never disappoints. This Aussie trio, heavily influenced by Indian music, is tight in this set. It makes me want to let the groove take me away. I can envision a low-lit basement, with lava lamps and cozy corners, full of slow grooving, mind-bending, fun.

#14 is Stella Gardner, a freshman player for Strata.  Stella's dad Phil introduced me to Ultimate around 1992 or '93.  Every year since that time I've said I wished I knew about the sport sooner. I absolutely love the sport, - philosophy - the competition - the family. Even now as a crotchity, rickety, old fart it makes me so happy to play.   Spread the love....
